The Upside from Executive Coaching Is Infinite

A potential executive coaching client, and now client, asked me the issues with which I have worked with CEOs over the years.  The answer is in the hundreds, and many of them multiple times.  They include difficulty with delegating, forming and articulating a vision, defining themselves, establishing and maintaining credibility, inspiring, interpersonal relations, managing personal and organizational energy, lagging curiosity, closed-mindedness, focusing and prioritizing, lagging courage, demonstrating support for others, sub-par organizational skills, articulating values, generating ideas, building and articulating a plan, engaging a team, holding others accountable, consistently delivering results, managing time and schedule, micro-managing, delegating, building trust among senior reports, maintaining work/life balance, inconsistent or poor-quality communication, insufficient creativity, high-maintenance reports, execution of hires and fires,  personal responsibility, keeping the team on the same page, investor relations, board and board members, and assorted other challenges.

I haven’t yet met a senior executive that didn’t have something to work on where the work will deliver a solid, and often huge, ROI.
